Fraud Alert- Phishing Text

We want to alert you to a recent phishing scam targeting our community. Some members have reported receiving texts asking them to verify transactions. These texts are not from WyHy. Scammers are using these messages to trick you into giving out personal information.

Here’s how the scam works:

  1. You receive a text message asking you to verify a transaction.
  2. A fraudster then calls you, pretending to be a WyHy representative.
  3. They ask for personal information and any One-Time Passwords (OTPs) sent to your phone.

Important Reminder: Never give out your One Time Password (OTP) to anyone. OTPs are meant to protect your accounts and should not be shared.

What to Do If You Receive a Suspicious Message or Call:

  • Do not respond to the text or call.
  • Do not share any personal information or OTPs.
  • Contact WyHy immediately if you suspect any fraudulent activity.

Your security is our top priority. Stay vigilant and protect your information.
