Our Humble Beginnings
In December 1953, WyHy Federal Credit Union was founded by seven members of the Wyoming Highway Department, each contributing $5. From these humble beginnings, WyHy was born with a mission rooted in the credit union philosophy of "People Helping People." Today, we stand proud with over 20,000 members and five branches throughout Wyoming. Our growth is a testament to the trust and support of our community.
Serving the State of Wyoming
What started as a credit union for Wyoming Highway Department employees has blossomed into a financial institution serving the entire state of Wyoming. We are proud to have opened our field of membership to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in our great state.

From the Barrett Building in downtown Cheyenne to our current state-of-the-art facilities in Cheyenne, Casper, Green River, Lyman, and Rock Springs, WyHy has been steadfast in embracing the credit union philosophy of "People Helping People."
